Vallejo Waterfront Weekend

This yearly event gives the Bay Area a chance to enjoy the Vallejo Waterfront with tons of fun activities. Coming soon we will have our full schedule online, including maps and directions, that will help you navigate to not miss a thing!

Dan Ashley Americana Rock Band will kick off the music on the main stage, and Dan Ashley (the weeknight anchor on ABC7 San Francisco and a lifelong musician and lover of music) will also be our host for the 2024 Vallejo Waterfront Weekend. And we are thrilled to announce the headliner for this year’s entertainment stage will be The Curtis Family C Notes, the beloved San Francisco group.

Whaleboat Races

The Whaleboat Regatta is the signature event of the Vallejo Waterfront Weekend. This event has been held since the late 1960’s, and has attracted thousands to the waterfront to see who can be crowned the best in their division.

Car Show

This Vallejo group returns to the waterfront to hold one of the area’s largest car shows benefiting T.E.A.M. Hope. Not just for car enthusiasts, all attendees enjoy these vehicles from vintage models to tricked out rides.

Disc Golf Tournament

It’s the 3rd annual Hydraulic Hyzer Disc Golf Tournament. Disc golfers will enjoy this hybrid Urban/Forest, through the historic shipyard and tree lined Aden Park, with views of the historic officers’ mansions and St. Peter’s Chapel.

Ducky Derby

We are excited to introduce the new and improved Ducky Derby. Obtainium Works is unveiling this interactive display to give even the oldest “kids” the chance to pick a duck and win a prize, and be entered for the grand prize drawings including cash prizes ranging from $150 to $500, a scooter and an electric bike.

Martial Arts Tournament

The Filipino Martial Arts Tournament brings large crowds to the waterfront to watch real-life warriors compete in this very exciting sport. Watch participants of all ages and backgrounds, men and women alike, participate in a less lethal version of a centuries-old sport using padded sticks and protective gear.

Flag Football

PRODUCED BY THE COACH SARNA LEAGUE

Experts will be on hand to hold a skills event for their entire league. Participants of their very successful Flag Football program will come to the Waterfront to pick up their uniforms, go through the special skills course to build agility and give them the confidence to take the field.

Bus Tours

Large group Bus Tours give riders a behind the scenes excursion into rarely seen areas of the historic Mare Island Naval Shipyard. Local historians share their knowledge while you ride in comfort.

Ferry Tours

The Vallejo Ferry Tour gives riders a fact-filled ride up the Straits to the Carquinez Bridge and back. Stay cool, sit back, relax and enjoy the scenic tour while enjoying some special refreshments.

A 5K experience for the whole family. Participants start at dusk from the WETA facility on Mare Island, and enjoy a walk/run along the Waterfront, across the Mare Island Causeway Bridge. The finish line finds you back at the Kondylis Waterfront Green, where you will be welcomed at the entertainment stage for the start of the awards party.

This is always one of the most exciting events of the weekend. Various Local Luminaries and members of the public will take a turn in the Splash Chair to get splashed for a cause. The luminaries are trying to raise money for the highest paid splash, so sponsor a dignitary by clicking below!

Kids Zone

GVRD and Loma Vista Farms bring you the Kid Zone, where tykes can climb a pumpkin patch, pet an animal and enjoy the vast array of games and activities that will surely keep the young’uns entertained. Activities keep public safety as a priority and have staff for monitoring and assistance.

Beer & Wine Garden

Festival goers can visit the Beer and Wine Garden starting at noon, it’s 5:00 somewhere right? Enjoy beverages in the shaded tent with a great view of the entertainment stage. Proceeds Benefit both organizations as well as this year’s grant recipients.
